OVERVIEW
I am a seasoned Facilities Manager that has over twenty years of experience. I am seeking full time employment by a major company or firm that has a proven track record of success and stability in the New Jersey and New York job market. Conversely, the opportunity to join a start up venture is also very appealing as I would embrace the chance to starting with an organization from the ground floor.
My experience in FM, Office Services, Purchasing and Management skills date back to 1988 where I started out as a mail room assistant. I learned Facilities Management from the ground up. Since 1988, I have managed facilities in several diverse industries that include: auto sales and production; insurance; hospitality franchise; retail; and manufacturing.
Currently I am employed as an FM consultant/contractor where I have been bringing my knowledge to start up companies. It is in this area that I have put my FM philosophies to good use, along with gaining valuable sales experience. It has been interesting to sit on the other side of desk in an FM role. I have found this a rewarding learning experience and it has added immensely to my skill sets.

The fine art of Facilities Management may be summed up by these words I was fortunate to learn early in my career:
Imagine driving down the highway at 65 miles per hour in a beautiful sports car and having to change a flat tire, or two or three flats;
Facilities Management is not just the act of changing the tires, but doing so without stopping the car for even a second;
All the while trying to manage the fact that there is only one spare tire with three flats to repair.
..................And lets not forget crashing the car altogether.
